I was troubled to hear Tucker Carlson’s recent claims about Barack Obama. In a podcast discussion with Adam Carolla, Carlson boldly asserted, “In 2008 it became really clear that Barack Obama had been having sex with men and smoking crack.” Such shocking allegations deeply concern me.
Carlson supported his statements by mentioning an upcoming interview he had scheduled with Larry Sinclair, a homosexual man who made headlines during the 2008 U.S. Presidential campaign season. Sinclair had shared his account of two past encounters involving sex and drug use with the Democratic presidential candidate. Carlson recounted Sinclair’s unwavering commitment to his claims, stating, “[Sinclair] said ‘I’ll sign an affidavit,’ and he did. ‘I’ll take a lie detector,’ and he did.”
Quoting Sinclair directly, Carlson added, “‘I smoked crack with Barack Obama and had sex with him,'” and confidently asserted, “That was obviously true.”
Carlson did not stop there. He continued to emphasize his belief in the authenticity of the Larry Sinclair story, declaring, “The Larry Sinclair story definitely happened. I’ve talked to Larry Sinclair about it. Definitely it happened. This story, if you listen to it in detail, is clearly true.”
According to Carlson, the reason mainstream media outlets did not report on these allegations was not due to their squeamishness about discussing sensitive topics such as sex and drugs, but rather because of the strong-arm tactics employed by the Obama campaign. He claimed, “Nobody [in mainstream media] reported it, not because they were squeamish about sex or drugs but because the Obama campaign said, ‘Anyone who reports on this gets no access to the Obama campaign.’ So they didn’t report on it.”
