It seems like the COVID lab-leak theory, which many of us skeptical conservative moms have been talking about for ages, is gaining some mainstream traction. It’s almost comical how the narrative has shifted. Remember when Senator Tom Cotton first mentioned it back in February 2020? They mocked him, called it misinformation, and dismissed the whole idea. But now, in mid-2021, suddenly it’s being taken seriously. It’s almost as if the truth can’t be suppressed forever.

One person at the center of this controversy is none other than Dr. Anthony Fauci. He was the director of the National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and played a key role in funding research that may have contributed to the creation of COVID. Gain-of-function research, where viruses are intentionally strengthened to study their potential effects, was happening under his watch. And who was he funding? None other than the EcoHealth Alliance, led by Peter Daszak, which had been involved in coronavirus research for years.

But what’s really shocking here is that Fauci received an email in January 2020 that mentioned EcoHealth’s work in China, which led to the discovery of sarbecoviruses, including the one that caused COVID. They even found sarbecoviruses that can bind to human cells and cause SARS-like diseases in mice. Fauci was concerned enough to have his deputy director look into it, but publicly, they kept denying any connection between their funding and COVID.

And it doesn’t end there. Project Veritas revealed that EcoHealth initially pitched its funding request to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), which rejected it due to concerns about violating a moratorium on gain-of-function research and potential risks. So, they went to NIAID instead.

Emails also show that Fauci and others knew about the lab-leak possibility as early as February 2020 but were more concerned about “science and international harmony” than transparency. And let’s not forget the scientists who expressed doubts about COVID’s natural origin. Dr. Kristian Andersen and Dr. Robert Garry raised questions about its engineered features and inconsistencies with evolutionary theory. But then they signed onto a paper dismissing the lab-leak hypothesis as “implausible.” Coincidentally, they received $25.2 million in NIH grants over two years.

And then there’s Andrew Huff, a former U.S. Army infantryman and whistleblower for EcoHealth, who claims that COVID’s origins can be traced back to U.S. federal funding overseen by Fauci and the government.

It’s infuriating to see how information was suppressed, narratives were controlled, and skepticism was ridiculed for so long. It’s time for a serious investigation into the origins of COVID, and those responsible for funding and downplaying these risky experiments need to be held accountable. The truth should never be sacrificed for the sake of “harmony” or political convenience.
